Yoga is an ancient spiritual practice of oneness and connection. The word ‘yoga’ in sanskrit language means ‘union’ of the Universal Self (Brahman) and the individual Self (Atman) as well as ‘union’ of body, mind and spirit.

I facilitate yoga privates, weekly classes, yoga courses, workshops and retreats. “I meet you where you are at“ is one of the most important values of my offerings. I encounter you with your individual expression of the source itself, from a place of compassion and empathy.  I offer you support in different areas of yoga.

 

 

The yoga that I offer is a flow from my heart. It seeks to inspire the flow of your heart as well – on and off the mat! I have studied various types of yoga and enjoy sharing yoga that I call ‘Heartful Hatha Flow’. Let me introduce that to you:

Heartful Hatha Flow Yoga brings the aspects of holistic lifestyle, ancient yoga practices and modern understanding of yoga together. I understand Patanjalis eight fold path* and the holistic four fold path of yoga** as a base for Heartful Hatha Flow. This practice seeks to balance from within. “Ha“ meaning Sun and “Tha“ meaning moon are brought together as a non-dualistic philosophy of being. Flow is the seamless oneness of movement and breath, which teaches us about the meditative state of mind within a movement. This yoga practice seeks to connect us with our hearts, connect us with our natural sensitivity and empathy as well as inner strength and softness. Through the practice we enter into a space of true understanding of yoga as a union with the Self.

 

 

This yoga practice combines following aspects :

  1. Hatha Yoga Asana & Pranayama, Principles of Flow Yoga and deep relaxation (Hatha Yoga)
  2. Yogic Philosophy combined life philosophical aspects  (Jnana Yoga)
  3. Meditation practice (Raja Yoga)
  4. Embrace of true Heart Connection: The practice of Yoga as a Body Prayer, Ceremony and Ritual (Bhakti Yoga)
  5. Holistic Yoga as daily practice & lifestyle – Yoga on and off the mat (Karma Yoga)

The hidden language of yoga can be discovered through this practice. Our body is a spiritual tool. It communicates with us through symbols and senses. Through the practice of yoga we develop a sense of listening and seeing inside which offers us the possibility to connect with our intuition and true empathy. Through the practice of Heartful Hatha Flow we connect with our essence and release blockages at all levels – physically, energetically, emotionally, mentally. We grow to understand which parts of ourselves still belong to us and which ones we are able to release. Yoga is a holistic way of living an authentic life – true to ourselves and true to others. This is a practice of shedding layers and connecting deep with our true nature and our sensitivity to recognize it.

 

 

 

 

I also share the practice of Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra with you. Yin Yoga is a practice with slow pace and deep stretches. The postures are held long, normally 2 to 7 minutes. The Yin Yoga that I share weaves your spirit with these four aspects together: 

  1. Physical body: Connective tissues, joints, bones and muscles
  2. Energetic body: Meridians (energy channels that run in the connective tissues)
  3. Emotional Body: Aspect of allowance and release
  4. Mental Body: One central intention of this practice is the cultivation of inner stillness in mind

 

Yoga Nidra is a self-induced and conscious yogic sleep. It is an ancient yogic method of progressive relaxation and an empowering experience of connectedness with all that is. In this harmonizing practice your mind is guided to stay in the receptive alpha waves.

I offer you my attention to progress at your own pace and I assist you with various tools of yoga and healing arts to find your heartful way in life – the place of inner peace within. The main focus of the private classes is how to find your own yoga journey in a way which can be easily integrated into your daily life. 

I share my experience and knowledge of yoga with you. We concentrate on what you need at the moment – all varieties of holistic yoga and philosophy can be with us on physical, energetic, emotional, mental and soul level. We can integrate different styles of yoga, depending where you are at. This offering supports you if you are just beginning your yogic path and you need some assistance or even if you have practiced longer, we dive deeper into the aspects that your interest lies on.

The meetings can include hands-on assistance and alignment in postures, guided breathwork, meditation, deep relaxation practices and philosophical thoughts. My intention is to open a non-judgemental space for an authentic expression of your Self just the way you are. 

Only one session can be life changing! Still, I highly recommend us to share more than one meeting in order to make this practice sustainable. I would be honored to start your (holistic) yogic journey with you! In a private session we have a gorgeous opportunity to see exactly what you need to build your own practice that suits your life, your body and is easily adaptable in your everyday life.

 

 

I am stuck in my yoga practice and not progressing. What elements would help me?

Together we will see in which area of yoga you can bring a new fresh wind to your practice. Sometimes it needs the concentration on understanding of the postures in depth and sometimes techniques to calm the mind. Sometimes sharing philosophy motivates you to understand the true meaning of yoga as a practice of unity, harmony and connection. 

 

 

How often can I come for a session?

If we decide to work together over several sessions, the normal rhythm would be to meet once a week to stay motivated and inspired. In each meeting we will adjust your daily practice to your needs.
